Support Strategies is a training for family members, support staff, educators, and therapists on the many important aspects needed to help an individual use a communication system throughout the day, across all environments, at home, school, work and in the community.

Earn Continuing Education Credits. AAC Voice Control for Environment and Distance Communication Training November 7, 2019 • 2:30pm - 4:00pm

Voice control has made many of the tasks we do throughout the day effortless and convenient. Individuals with physical and developmental disabilities can use this same technology to independently access entertainment, like video and music. Any AAC device can open up a world of access if only the right vocabulary is used.
Bring your AAC device or borrow one of ours for this hands-on training.

Digital Chatter is an AAC Users group in Davis, CA. We meet once per month to play games using our speech devices.

Get up to speed, or expand your knowledge of Smartbox’s Grid3 in Windows, and how it runs on the variety of speech generating devices from Talk To Me Technologies, LLC. Format includes short topic presentations, interactive discussions, and hands-on time with devices. No prior knowledge required. Bring a Talk To Me Technologies device or share access to those provided at the workshop. SLPs, AAC specialists, AT professionals, and device users and their supporters are welcome.
